Advertising makes this app a huge disappointment

I have had this app for several years. At first it
was great. Then they changed the advertising so that it would launch without the app even being played. It would start this loud advertising even when the phone was not being used. My wife had this happen when she had the phone in her purse. Its things like this that will doom advertising and a way to make more people use ad blockers
